Description
Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was a brilliant Sanskrit scholar, logician, and teacher, who went on to become one of the greatest devotees of God. Intoxicated with divine love and filled with compassion, he traveled far and wide in order to spread the message of inner freedom and transformation through love for God. He spent much time absorbed in contemplation on various devotional verses, including eight which he composed himself. These eight verses are known as Shikshastakam, and in this work Shri Chaitanya summarizes the essence of his beautiful spiritual life of love and devotion.
